The Society Hill neighborhood of Philadelphia is characterized by historical urban rowhomes. The residents of this beautiful home wanted to turn their small backyard into an urban oasis. ThinkGreen developed a design that maximizes outdoor living space while still providing an enclosure of native greenery. The tight urban environment necessitated a unique approach to construction: all materials had to enter and leave the site either through the front door, or over a six-foot privacy wall. ThinkGreen managed the construction process with minimal disturbance to the home and surrounding sites.
