Manton Street Park

Philadelphia, PA

This pocket park in Philadelphia was built for the Philadelphia Horticultural Society. Debris and overgrowth were removed from the small lot, and decorative wood fencing, salvaged Pennsylvania fieldstone boulders, bluestone porous paving, and rough sawn wood benches were installed. The pocket park is part of a vibrant corner of South Philadelphia, alongside a community garden and colorful mural by artist David Guinn.
